Q: I am going on a first date for the first time in years. What in the world should I wear?
A: It’s important to be yourself on the first date(s). Don’t get too overdone, teetering in shoes you can hardly walk in, or wearing so much jewelry that it distracts from your pretty face. I think it’s fun to wear a dress on the first date. A casual, flirty dress with a light jacket just in case you get cold, neutral shoes that you’re comfortable in, and a smaller purse than your weekday tote. Your outfit will help set the mood for easy, inviting conversation and an overall romantic, memorable night!
