Q: I recently traveled to Paris and noticed a big trend there is wearing shorts with tights, and I’ve even seen some of it here. How can I pull that off?
A: I love this trend! It’s reminiscent of the 40’s and 50’s when tights were a staple in any girl’s wardrobe. You can wear it more simply by pairing black tights with denim shorts, a blazer and boots or booties, or if you want to be brave with this trend, try red tights or print shorts. But, remember that the combination of tights and shorts alone is a statement, so adding too many colors or prints will just make you look like a bag lady. Keep it simple!
